Summary
Exploring the New Testament This course offers an overview of the New Testament, examining its historical context, key themes, and theological significance. The class will begin with a brief introduction to the Gospels. Following this introduction, the course will focus on the remaining books of the New Testament, beginning with the Acts of the Apostles and continuing through the Book of Revelation. Students will examine the growth of the early Christian church, the missionary journeys of Paul, the purpose and message of the Epistles, and the apocalyptic vision presented in Revelation. Through guided reading, discussion, and historical context, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the authors, audiences, and central teachings of each New Testament book. The course is designed for individuals seeking a deeper understanding of the New Testament and its enduring impact on Christian faith and practice. Participants of all backgrounds are welcome. A minimum of 10 students is required to hold this class. Class may be canceled due to low enrollment.
