Unique Holiday Spices

Summary

Transform your holiday table with bold and underused spices that infuse warmth and surprise into classic dishes. In this hands-on class, students will explore each unique spice through both raw and cooked samples. You'll learn how to properly toast and bloom spices, achieve balance with warming spices in savory and sweet dishes, and discover new holiday flavor profiles beyond the typical "cinnamon routine." Participants will engage in food preparation and create a complete meal, including an appetizer, side dish, entr�e, and dessert, all while enjoying a festive mocktail. Each student will leave with a recipe booklet featuring spice pairings and holiday tips, as well as a holiday spice kit to continue the culinary adventure at home. Enrollment is limited to 8 students. Students must register no later 12/7/25. This class requires a minimum of 5 students. Class may be canceled due to low enrollment.
