The latter half focuses on age-appropriate basic skincare and makeup techniques, fostering confidence and self-expression. Growing Dreams, Harvesting Success: Discover Agriculture at Bladen Community College. Engage in the vast and exciting world of agriculture at BCC! The Agriculture Summer Camp at BCC is an excellent opportunity for those who are passionate about the field of agriculture. Attendees will have the chance to learn about college and career paths in agriculture, working alongside experienced professionals such as professors, farmers, and agricultural experts. The camp is structured into four 1-week sessions, each with its unique focus. In the Food Science Camp students will learn about the food science industry and how food goes from farm to table. Students will be able to get hands on experience in food processing practices. Activities include industry tours, food processing, and safety. This camp is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is interested in pursuing a career in agriculture or simply wants to learn more about the field. The hands-on experience and exposure to experienced professionals will provide attendees with valuable skills and knowledge that can be applied throughout their academic and professional careers. This camp is funded by the Tobacco Trust Fund Commission Grant and students may register for each weekly session free of charge until May 31, 2024.* Lunch, tours and transportation, and lab materials will be provided. This camp is for rising sophomore to rising high school senior high school students interested in a career or degree in Agriculture. *COST: Students who register after May 31, 2024 will pay $250.00 per each weekly camp session.

Also offered are classes in law enforcement and emergency services. Additionally, students will be able to explore the construction trades, natural sciences, computer science, engineering and more!
